Concerto

A tap, set in a functional shelf, beyond any possible dance around its shape, becomes source again; a washbasin, a smart top, hides its function under a panel, engraved by various patterns, that, at the same time, let water pass through; or the object that hides once more the function of a washbasin, whose monolithic presence is lightened by an useful void, enriched by eastern lacquer-like colours, made precious by a fret worked panel.

“Concerto”, or about decoration, not a merely applied element, but design matrix, that defines objects and spaces as lightly as a lacework, clinking at an handwork tradition deep-rooted in everyone’s domestic scenarios.
Furthermore, decoration is leit-motiv for the shower box, a thick perforated panel, with rounded edges, seems polished by water at the point that it looks like an unusual coral reef inside a crystalline blue theca.
