"We try, in all of our projects, to think about, to design and to realize places which are at the same time simple, natural, yet complex and layered.
Complex because, for whatever the specific type of project, the volumes, spaces, interiors, finishing, architectural details, lighting, all assume the same importance or given the same weight, in a continuous exercise that cuts across various disciplines."
He produces architectural projects, for government offices and private clients, in Italy and, above all, abroad. Among his most recent projects are New Town Hall in Kracow (now in progress) and the new headquarters of the Port Authority at Marina di Carrara (2007), the Vertex tower and Office Building in Amman (2007), the new Museum of Contemporary art at Fabrika Schindlera in Krakow (2010), dealing with the theme of transformation, the relationship between innovation and history, between form and function, between "product" (in the broadest sense) and communication. Among his many projects in the fashion world appear names like Dolce e Gabbana, Ferrè, Valentino, Extè, Malo, Tod's etc. Every time, his work involves in-depth study, not only in his own sphere of specialization; every project, even an interior, is to a large extent developed through the use of light, sensitive materials and particular combinations of surfaces, volumes, solids and open space.
